At this point, I was not too far from the end of the bike course. It was a breath of fresh air to see Mrs. Clot Buster at this point to give me a big cheer. My pace picked up some more after that... Total time for the bike 2:36.47 for an average speed of
21.4 MPH. I was very impressed with that split...
Even when she is not competing, Mrs. Clot Buster gets some love from the photographers... she even got some Gatorade from one of the aid stations. It must be her charm!
Some day we will see her out there... throwing down the hammer at a half-iron distance triathlon!
