I will try what I can to keep you up to date with what I am doing through Twitter... it will definitely be easier for the small comments that I would like to post as to what is going with me.
Next weekend August 8 and 9 the Clot Buster and the clan is heading up to Cleveland to participate once more in the Greater Cleveland Triathlon along with the STOP THE CLOT raffle of 2009.
Stay tuned thtough Twitter as I will keep you up to date on the progress of the event throughout the day. Who knows maybe this weekend I will be able to meet some more clot survivors and connect with them to make them part of the STOP THE CLOT movement and get them polka-dots to wear and spread the word.
In years past it had been a great event and this year I am sure it will be just the same.
Speaking of going to Cleveland... I have to give huge props to my friend Bill McIntosh, perhaps you remember I posted some pictures of him on this POST... well Bill just completed the Ironman Lake Placid in a very respectable time of 12:39.02... CONGRATULATIONS BILL!!!
Along the same lines also CONGRATULATIONS to Kristoffer Perry a clot survivor I've been in touch with who also competed and completed Ironman Coeur d'Alene in a very good time of 14:47.32. Kristoffer CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Lots of Ironman action going on all around me... when will I ever sport the polka-dots for 140.6 Miles? Will I ever get the chance? Will I ever be able to put it together? If I ever get the chance I hope that all of you out there can come along for the ride...
